Timbuktu, USA offers a refreshingly absurd portrait of American systems of power. Originally written in the immediate aftermath of Donald Trump's first inauguration, the play tells the story of Kelly Kilkenny, a decorated career politican who formulates a devious plot to attain the ultimate seat of power – the American presidency. Will Kilkenny manage to claim what's rightfully hers, or will the men (and the monkey) in her life prevent her from claiming the highest seat in the land? TICKET PRICING: Part of Intramural Theater's core mission is to keep live theatre accessible for all community members, regardless of their financial means. With this in mind, we maintain a General Admission price of $25 for all shows (about 40% of the actual cost per seat), along with a "No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds" policy. In order to make this a sustainable non-profit business model, we use tiered pricing. Those who have the means are invited to pay more for their ticket. If you decide to pay more, your ticket will not be different from any other, but it will ensure that we are able to keep ticket prices affordable for all. The additional cost of your ticket will subsidize all tickets that are $25 and under. We thank you for valuing local, original theatre.
